Thirteen-year-old Emily Ross was one of the original members of the Marietta Antique Mall family – working with her family to build out their first antique booth. Emily was often here, helping move furniture and arranging items. When not helping out, she was in the break room – either working on her homework or on her sci-fi/fantasy debut, Blue’s Prophecy. We are so delighted to be the first to host her first book signing open to the public for Blue’s Prophecy – the first of a 3-book-publishing contract she received at age 12. Her book signing will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, June 10th, including a program with the Cobb County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit and a free (short) writing seminar with kids. IF you’d like to register your child, please fill out a form at the front desk. Please grab a copy of her first edition – for $7.99 – and then come see her in person on June 10th. She has already been featured in the AJC, Vox Communications, and the Huffington Post. She is also slated to speak at the Margaret Mitchell House on July 17th.
1 p.m. – The Special Operations/K-9 Unit
